The docs asked if I’d create a website for their new consulting business. When I asked how they would get people to visit their site, they said that’s what they hoped I’d help them with.
So, after several conversations and a great deal of investigative work, I realized that their target market would never take the time to visit the website, but they would respond to a direct, emotional message.
Instead of a standard website, the docs got all the leads they needed through a combination of direct response email and fax letters that drove prospects to a “personalized” Landing Page. It worked like gangbusters, giving them 33 quality leads in less than a month, and for less money than they would have spent on the website.
